First of August is a raw documentation of artistic life and has a strong visual focus. First of August celebrates beautiful and genuine lives and styles of real, talented creatives and is as true and intimate as the personalities that are represented within it. I’m Karlijn, a 25 years old sociologist and living in Amsterdam. I want to share my inspiration and trends I see in my daily life. For me fashion isn’t just a product, fashion is mixing and connecting the different parts of my social life. I get inspiration out of ‘moments’ in daily life, which is why First of August isn’t just a date. First of August is the ‘moment’ my creative brain decided to share thoughts and inspiration with you.
