First of August 2nd Anniversary!

Looking back on the past year, it really feels like me and FoA are getting more and more ‘mature’. From studying sociology and actively blogging at the same time to running my own creative company that offers you to shop, read, learn, create and visit. The webshop, production channel, the recently launched clothing label ‘by FoA’ and FoA.Academy are all up and running.

Since I moved into my beautiful studio in the center of Amsterdam, my living room did no longer have to serve as an office. Besides that, this year was again filled with a lot of inspirational encounters with creative people for the FoA.blog. And what to think about all the travelling back and forth to Budapest for ‘by FoA’ and the furnishing project? Launching my own clothing line opened new doors: last Saturday I had a great event during Amsterdam Fashion Week in the ‘Restored’ store and definitely a lot of new challenges are on the way!

In short: it has been a great year! And I’m even more excited when thinking of FoA’s future. A series of new items of the ‘by FoA’ collection, an expansion of the beautiful small designer collections in my webshop and new inspiring ‘FoA.Academy’ lecture evenings can be expected. And I’ll reveal a little secret here between the lines: plans are hatched to open a pop-up store in Amsterdam!
